There is audio from a 1963 meeting between JFK and his political team which includes this tantalizing insight into liberal thought: JFK asks his people at what income level voters are more likely to vote for the GOP than the Democrats. At the time the number given was $10,000 per year, but it's the idea itself which is so interesting. See, in that audio you find the very reason Democrats should not be believed today either.
What do Democrats say today? That the GOP is for the rich, the Dems are for the poor and middle classes. And that anyone not rich is a fool to vote for the GOP because the GOP wants to keep them poor. So consider something, and I'll try to keep it very brief and simple so liberals can figure it out too...If Republicans serve the rich, and Democrats the poor, and there is some income level which indicates where the propensity to vote for one or the other party is divided, then what exists to motivate Democrat politicians to want people to be wealthier, or Republican politicians to want people to be poorer?
That's right. The GOP wants more people to be wealthier, which means more poor and middle class people today would be less inclined to vote for Democrats as they have higher incomes, and Democrats want more people to be poorer (on their own anyhow) no matter what. Otherwise how does each party benefit given liberal rhetoric? It remains a clear and distinct possibility that Democrats are inveterate liars, and that they mean none of the gibberish they utter. But given how economically illiterate most Americans are it sounds right, and Democrats do give the most free stuff, and so poorer voters don't question it much. But this doesn't exonerate the MSM. Reporters and editors are complicit in this deceit, and should be reviled for it.
What Democrats really want is a plantationized population. Keep them ignorant and poor, but with just enough free stuff to be thankful for, and you can get previously free people to do all sorts of things bad for them. Like becoming willing serfs. Shame on the Democrats for this disingenuity, and shame on the GOP for not calling it out more clearly.
